With a career spanning 32 years in public education, Dr. Villarreal's professional journey from a teacher, coach, counselor, principal at the elementary and high school levels, assistant superintendent and now superintendent has prepared him for the challenges of leading Rockwall ISD to new heights.

Community is important to Dr. Villarreal, and he is actively involved with organizations like the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, and the Children's Advocacy Center. He also serves in a state leadership role as the Region 10 representative on the Texas Association of School Administrators Executive Committee.
