PhD in Higher Education Studies & Leadership (HESL)
The Baylor HESL Ph.D. program is one of the top higher education programs in the nation, and Baylor’s HESL faculty place among the top 5% of scholars in their discipline. The program offers a blend of research, academic rigor, and hands-on professional experience to prepare scholars and practitioners for careers in leadership. A master’s degree is required to apply.
The PhD program offers full tuition coverage and a stipend for the 20-hour per week apprenticeship.
MSEd in Higher Education & Student Affairs (HESA)
The HESA program balances academic rigor and career experience through a 20hour per week apprenticeship. HESA is the only such program from a Research One university that incorporates student development, administrative theory, and faith into the curriculum.
HESA is a full-time, residential program completed in 22 months and offers student full funding plus a stipend for the apprenticeship.
