The Department of Educational Leadership prepares graduates for exemplary leadership of public and private institutions and for educational research, offering graduate programs in K-12 and higher education leadership and sport administration and an undergraduate program in leadership.
Areas of Study
The doctoral program in higher education leadership and master’s program in student affairs are both full-time residential programs with internships, offering high-level preparation to train impactful leaders.
Baylor’s graduate programs for K12 leaders are designed for working professionals who want to serve in leadership roles at public or private educational systems, offering preparation for appropriate certifications.
Baylor undergraduates may choose to add this interdisciplinary minor in leadership studies to prepare for success in their chosen vocations, learning leadership theory and applying it to experience.
Graduates of the sport management master’s program serve in high-ranking leadership roles in the sport industry in professional, intercollegiate, and K12 educational systems. The MSEd is a residential program with a professional internship.
